Colour workshop

As we’re approaching a new week we had a workshop called “ Color”. I was excited to learn something new. And our teachers made that in a unique way. Out of some ordinary color, we’ve learned how we can relate something ordinate to extraordinary.

We're being asked to bring 2 A1 size papers each and put a single color on the paper that relates to a home object. And we did as our teacher asked us to do. This picture relates to what all of is did before we came for the class.

The first thing that happen was to put all the paper on the floor with a VIBGYOR pattern. You can see in the picture and then we were divided into 3 different groups to sort things as a team

After that ,this picture as we put a set of papers together to make a color pattern as well as color combinations.

Basically in this class, we had 4 different sections one after another. I’ll be describing them in detail below.

So in this first section, we cut those papers into 3 pecs each with measurements that we like. And then we started a journey of putting papers together to cover from a tabletop to a kitchen and then a sitting area like the photos . I know it seems ordinary but there are some findings out of it.

If you look at the video on the top of the table we put bright colors as a sign of energy(like a student reading at the table) and then covered the kitchen area with deep green color to symbolize calm and cool as the coverage of papers went to the sitting area we put light blue color to symbolize relaxation and that's how it ends.

Moving on to the next section, as you can see in the picture it's a work that covers floor-to-floor in heights.

It's confusing, the picture itself right? It was confusing for me as well when we were doing this on spot. We tried to make something using those papers. We squeeze, blend, and shape them to our desired measurements. And using a single wall with floor-to-floor heights. To stick those paper makings. After blending all those shapes, and colors it made magic afterwords. If you a closer look at the wall you can feel that magic. It seems like a shadow of a human being. It's beautiful, isn’t it?

Approaching the next section by cutting those papers and shapes again into pecs to create something else. This time we select the corridor we have in front of us. And as you can see in the video we put those paper cutting together on the corridor. Our point was to symbolize it with a girl passing the corridor while she’s dancing.

Want to eat some fruit? There you go! Oh, sorry I forgot that the fake one using those papers. Maybe some other day then!

We’re in the last section of our workshop. We wanted to make some unusual changes in the kitchen. And this is what we did like the pictures. We make some fruits using paper cutting and organize them in a bowl and put them in the kitchen. Pretty unusual.
